Our headquarters are located in Lamay, a small village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco.
We offer one day activities especially hikes in the mountains and visits to local communities.. We also organize other adventure activities such as fly fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing, farming & culinary activities, and interactive experiences in the village, including visits to sustainable projects in Lamay.
We belief that responsible tourism contributes positively to enhance traditional agriculture and native products. Likewise motivate environment conservation through forestation of native species.
Lamay is a small village located in the province of Calca, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco.
Its population is 6000 people, of which 50% leaves in the village and the rest in the communities on the mountains.
La actividad principal es la agricultura tradicional de productos nativos de la región, como papas, maíz, quinuas, tarwi, habas, frejoles, entre otros.
The main activity is traditional farming of native products of the region, such as potatoes, corn, quinoa, tarwi, beans, beans, among others.
Traditional activities are carried out in the village of Lamay, such as the preparation of Chicha de Jora, guinea pigs breeding (for consumption and for sale), bread bakery and handicraft projects, like traditional weavings, pottery, among other productive activities.
The main festivity in Lamay is the Santa Rosa de Lima´s festival, saint patroness of Lamay. This festivity is celebrated for 4 days, from the 31st of August, with typical dances, such as Capaq Coya, Majeños, Mestiza Qoyacha, Capac Negro among other groups that brighten up the party with their coloured costumes and representatives dances.
The district's anniversary is January 3rd .
